Environment

  • Mineral wools are recyclable and the vast majori-ty of four production waste is recycled.

Health

Stone wool panels are made from fibre exempt from carcinogenic classification (EU Regulation 1272/2008 amended by EU Regulation 790/2009. The International Agency for Research on Cancer states that mineral wool is not classifiable as to its carcinogenity to humans (group 3).

Cleaning

Use a soft brush or a vacuum cleaner to clean the surface and thereby help extend the life of the ceilings.

Installation

  • Refer to the instructions in DTU 58.1 and the NFP 68203-1 and 2 standards and other prevailing DTUs based on the nature of the  area treated.
  • Air circulation between the spaces and the ple-num is recommended to balance temperature and pressure on both sides of the ceiling.
  • Minerval® ceilings are installed on T15 or T24 grids.
  • Panels can be cut with a cutting blade without generating noise or dust.
  • The direction in which the panels should be in-stalled is marked on the rear side of the panel.
