Light reflection: Reflection coefficient for light greater than 85% in white.

Lighting needs: 11% lower lighting needs due to the whiteness of the technical coating and light reflecting power. More natural light Tonga® A ceilings diffuse daylight and help in-crease the natural light level. The daylight factor can be increased by up to 6%. The colour render-ing index (L.a.b) of Tonga a is close to pure white, which increases the quality of the diffused light

Fire reaction Under EN 13501-1: · Euroclass A1 for white | · Euroclass A2-s1, do for colours and patterns

Cleaning: Use a light brush or a vacuum cleaner to clean the surface and thereby help extend the life of the Tonga® A ceilings

Health

Stone wool panels are made from fibre exempt from carcinogenic classification (EU Regulation 1272/2008 amended by EU Regulation 790/2009. The International Agency for Research on Cancer states that mineral wool is not classifiable as to its carcinogenity to humans (group 3)

Indoor Air Quality

  • Tonga® A is the first ceiling range awarded the A+ health grade under the interior air quality marking system, which became mandatory in France on 1 January 2012
  • Tonga® A ceilings are classified as M1 Air Indoor Climate products in Finland

Installation

  • Refer to the instructions in DTU 58.1 and the NFP 68203-1 and 2 standards and other prevailing DTUs based on the nature of the  area treated
  • Air circulation between the spaces and the ple-num is recommended to balance temperature and pressure on both sides of the ceiling
  • Tonga® ceilings are installed on T15 or T24 grids
  • Panels can be cut with a cutting blade without generating noise or dust
  • The direction in which the panels should be in-stalled is marked on the rear side of the panel
