Health
Stone wool panels are made from fibre exempt from carcinogenic classification (EU Regulation 1272/2008 amended by EU Regulation 790/2009. The International Agency for Research on Cancer states that mineral wool is not classifiable as to its carcinogenity to humans (group 3)
Indoor Air Quality
- Tonga® A is the first ceiling range awarded the A+ health grade under the interior air quality marking system, which became mandatory in France on 1 January 2012
- Tonga® A ceilings are classified as M1 Air Indoor Climate products in Finland
Installation
- Refer to the instructions in DTU 58.1 and the NFP 68203-1 and 2 standards and other prevailing DTUs based on the nature of the area treated
- Air circulation between the spaces and the ple-num is recommended to balance temperature and pressure on both sides of the ceiling
- Tonga® ceilings are installed on T15 or T24 grids
- Panels can be cut with a cutting blade without generating noise or dust
- The direction in which the panels should be in-stalled is marked on the rear side of the panel
